Want a free astrology chat on WhatsApp? Most big apps use WhatsApp only for OTPs, support or PDFs. Here is which ones offer what, ranked, with Play facts and vendor sources.

This date-only preview is approximate: exact birth time and time-zone conversion matter near a Moon-sign boundary; location is also needed for houses and the ascendant. Create a free account and enter full birth details for a calculated chart and conversation with Soma.
Disclosure: AskSoma publishes this guide and ranks its own app first. The ranking reflects our stated criteria below; every competitor fact is taken from its Google Play listing (checked 1 Oct 2026). WhatsApp availability is not on Play listings, so we checked each vendor’s own website on the same day; the source for every WhatsApp statement is noted in the page code.
- Best overall for WhatsApp: AskSoma, an AI astrologer you can chat with on WhatsApp, Telegram or Android from one account.
- Best for reports sent to WhatsApp: Clickastro, which delivers premium reports as a PDF by email or WhatsApp.
- Best AI chat without WhatsApp: Om.AI, with a free first question in the app or browser.
- Best for a human astrologer: Astrotalk, though only in its own app, with the first session free.
Which astrology apps actually work on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp is where most Indian families already talk, so "astrology on WhatsApp" is a natural thing to look for. The reality is messier than the search results suggest. When we checked the websites of the big Android astrology apps, most used WhatsApp for something other than astrology: login codes, customer support, or delivering a paid PDF. Only one of the established apps, AskSoma, states that you can hold the astrology conversation itself on WhatsApp.
So this guide does two jobs. It ranks seven Android astrology apps by how well they serve someone who wants astrology on WhatsApp, and it says plainly which ones offer WhatsApp and for what. It also covers the small WhatsApp-only bots that have appeared, which you can use with no app at all.

How we ranked WhatsApp astrology options
We reviewed public listings and vendor websites on 1 October 2026 and weighed them against these criteria, in order of importance:
- Real astrology in WhatsApp. Can you ask a question and get an answer inside WhatsApp, or is WhatsApp only used for OTPs, support or file delivery?
- Connected to your chart. Does the WhatsApp side know your Kundli and history, or do you start from scratch every time?
- Useful WhatsApp extras. Report delivery to WhatsApp counts for something even without a chat.
- The Android app behind it. Play rating, ads and how recently it was updated.
- Price you can predict. Flat plan, free questions, or per-minute wallet, as each listing states.
- Language support named on the listing.
How astrology on WhatsApp works
A WhatsApp astrology service is a business account connected to software. You message it, it asks for your date, time and place of birth, and it replies in the chat. The differences come down to three questions:
- Who answers? On the services we found, an AI does. The human-astrologer marketplaces keep their astrologers inside their own apps.
- Where does your chart live? A standalone bot keeps whatever you type into it. A bot linked to an app account, like AskSoma’s, can use the chart you already saved.
- How do you pay? Some standalone bots take payment by UPI inside the chat (KundliBaba AI, for example). App-linked services bill through the app or website.
WhatsApp messages are text-first, so charts, tables and long reports are easier to read in an app or as a PDF. That is why the best setups pair a WhatsApp chat for quick questions with an app for the full picture.
The 7 best ways to get astrology on WhatsApp in 2026
AskSoma
One AI astrologer across Android, WhatsApp and Telegram
Of the apps compared here, AskSoma is the only one whose own listing or site describes running its chat on WhatsApp and Telegram on the same account as the Android app (per its Play listing). That matters for a practical reason. A WhatsApp-only bot knows only what you type into it, while AskSoma builds your Vedic Kundli with Swiss Ephemeris, including divisional charts, and its own guide describes the WhatsApp chat drawing on that saved Kundli. You can ask a quick question on WhatsApp on the way to work, then open the app later to see the full chart behind the answer.
In the app you get chat and live voice with the AI astrologer in 21+ languages (Hindi first), dated timing windows with confidence levels, a Pro Prediction Ledger that tracks hits and misses, 22 insight areas, Cosmic Contacts kundli matching, a Muhurat finder and birth-time rectification. The free tier covers your Kundli, two starter readings, free daily messages and 5 voice minutes, and the listing states there is no per-minute clock.
Pros
- Astrology chat on WhatsApp and Telegram, tied to the same account as the app
- Answers grounded in a Swiss Ephemeris Kundli with divisional charts
- Live voice in the app, in 21+ languages with Hindi first
- Dated timing windows with confidence levels
- No ads on the Play listing; free tier with no per-minute clock
Cons
- Newer and smaller than the big marketplaces (10K+ installs)
- No live human astrologers listed
- Western astrology is lighter than its Vedic depth
Pricing: Free tier available. Pro: from ~$0.27/day · $14.99/mo · 6 months $59.99 · day pass from $2 · India ₹14/day.
Best for: People who want to ask about their own chart inside WhatsApp, with the full app there when they need it.
Clickastro
Premium horoscope reports delivered as a PDF on WhatsApp
Clickastro uses WhatsApp for delivery rather than conversation. On its website, its paid premium reports are described as delivered as a PDF by email or WhatsApp. That suits families who still share horoscopes as documents. You order a career, marriage, wealth or gemstone report and it lands in the chat where you would forward it anyway.
The Android app behind it is strong on free tools. Its Play listing offers a free janam kundli with predictions, free kundli matching with papasamya, dosha and dasha sandhi analysis, daily panchang, rashifal, sun-sign and numerology predictions, and multiple family profiles. It names nine languages on its listing: English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Oriya. Online consultations with named astrologers are also available.
Pros
- Premium reports delivered as a PDF via email or WhatsApp (vendor site)
- Free janam kundli and detailed kundli matching
- Nine languages named on the listing, including Oriya
- 4.4 rating, 1M+ installs, no ads listed
Cons
- No astrology chat inside WhatsApp; WhatsApp is for report delivery
- The detailed reports are paid
- Consultations are a separate paid service
Pricing: Free kundli and matching, plus paid premium astrology reports and paid astrologer consultations.
Best for: Families who want a printable, forwardable horoscope report sent to WhatsApp.
Melooha
AI chart answers in the app, reports sent to your WhatsApp
Melooha is an AI-first Vedic app, and it is one of the few that ties WhatsApp to a product. Its Hindi report page says a report reaches your WhatsApp as soon as it is ready, asks for the recipient’s WhatsApp number at checkout, and lists a WhatsApp number for support. We found no open-ended astrology chat inside WhatsApp; that conversation happens in the app.
On Android, Melooha’s listing describes AI-powered questions and answers personalised to your birth chart, love and marriage matchmaking, and detailed reports on career, health, relationships and marriage. A free daily horoscope and free family profiles with chart comparison make it practical for a whole household.
Pros
- Reports delivered to WhatsApp, per Melooha’s own report page
- AI answers personalised to your Vedic chart in the app
- Free family profiles with chart comparison
- 4.5 rating, 1M+ installs, no ads listed
Cons
- No astrology chat inside WhatsApp found
- Pricing is not described on the Play listing
- Languages are not stated on the Play listing
Pricing: Not described on its Play listing; check the app or Melooha’s website.
Best for: People who like AI chart answers in an app and want finished reports in WhatsApp.
Om.AI
No WhatsApp, but a chat-style AI astrologer in the app and the browser
Om.AI does not mention WhatsApp on its website, so do not expect a WhatsApp bot. It earns a place here because it covers what most people want from WhatsApp astrology: a quick, chat-style question answered from their chart, free to start. Its site also offers a free astrology chat in the browser, so you can try it without installing anything.
The Play listing describes AI chat based on planetary positions, dashas and transits, and a free Kundli with D1 and D9 charts, Vimshottari Dasha, Ashtakavarga and Shadbala. It also offers free Ashtakoot Gun Milan and live Panchang. The first question is free, daily streaks earn more, and Premium unlocks unlimited chat. The interface is in English and Hindi, and the AI replies in whatever language you write in.
Pros
- Highest Play rating in this guide (4.8)
- First question free, plus streak-earned free questions
- Replies in the language you write in, per its listing
- Browser chat option on its website, no install needed
Cons
- No WhatsApp channel
- Smaller install base (50K+)
- Unlimited chat requires Premium
Pricing: First question free and daily free questions via streaks; Premium unlocks unlimited chat.
Best for: People who want WhatsApp-style AI chat but are happy to use an app or browser instead.
Astrotalk
Human astrologers in-app; no WhatsApp chat found
Many searches for "free chat with astrologer on WhatsApp" are really looking for Astrotalk’s offer, so it is worth being clear. We found no WhatsApp astrology chat on Astrotalk’s Play listing or homepage. Its listing describes chat, call and live sessions with astrologers inside the Astrotalk app, with the first chat or call session free.
What it offers in the app is scale. The listing shows 100M+ installs, a 4.6 rating, 1600+ astrologers, a free Kundli and Kundli Milan, horoscopes and the AstroMall remedy shop. After the free session you recharge a wallet and pay per minute. The listing also says it does not use software or computer-generated predictions.
Pros
- First chat or call session free
- Largest install base here (100M+); 4.6 rating
- Live human astrologers by chat, call and live session
- No ads listed
Cons
- No WhatsApp chat; you need the Astrotalk app
- Per-minute wallet billing after the free session
- No AI astrologer described on the listing
Pricing: Wallet recharge; chat and call charged per minute. First chat or call session free.
Best for: People who want a human astrologer and do not mind installing a separate app.
Anytime Astro
Uses WhatsApp for login codes and updates; consultations stay in-app
Anytime Astro’s website sends your login OTP by WhatsApp or SMS, and signing up includes agreeing to receive messages through RCS and WhatsApp. So WhatsApp is part of the account, but the astrology itself happens in the app: chat or call with 1500+ verified astrologers, 24/7, according to the Play listing.
Its strongest point is language. The listing names Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi, and 24 languages overall. New users get a free first chat. After that you recharge a wallet and pay per minute. The listing says all consultations are with real human astrologers and that it uses no AI predictions.
Pros
- Free first chat for new users
- Consultations in 24 languages
- WhatsApp or SMS login codes (vendor site)
- 4.7 rating, 5M+ installs, no ads listed
Cons
- No astrology chat inside WhatsApp found
- Per-minute wallet billing after the free chat
- Human-only; no AI option for quick questions
Pricing: Wallet recharge; chat and call charged per minute. Free first chat for new users.
Best for: People who want a human astrologer in a regional language and are fine using an app.
InstaAstro
WhatsApp for customer support; ₹1 first session in the app
InstaAstro lists a WhatsApp number for customer support on its help page, alongside phone and email. That is useful if a payment or session goes wrong, but readings are not delivered over WhatsApp. They happen in the app, by chat, call or live session.
The Play listing describes 2000+ experts, including astrologers, tarot readers, numerologists and palmists. Free tools include Kundli, Kundli Milan, horoscopes, Hindu and Jain Panchang, and Vastu and dosha guidance. The first chat or call costs ₹1, then the wallet is charged per minute. The app is described as being in Hindi and English.
Pros
- WhatsApp customer-support line (vendor site)
- ₹1 first chat or call
- Astrologers plus tarot, numerology and palmistry readers
- 4.7 rating, 10M+ installs, no ads listed
Cons
- WhatsApp is for support only, not readings
- Per-minute wallet billing after the ₹1 session
- Only Hindi and English named on the listing
Pricing: Recharge wallet; per-minute charges apply after the first chat or call at ₹1.
Best for: People who want a cheap first human reading and like having WhatsApp support if something goes wrong.
WhatsApp-only astrology bots (not ranked)
A newer group of services lives only in WhatsApp, with no Android app. None of them is in our Google Play dataset, so we cannot show Play ratings or apply our Android criteria, and we have not ranked them. Here is what each says about itself on its own website:
- KundliBaba AI says it sends a free Vedic janm kundli on WhatsApp in about two minutes, explains it in English, Hindi and seven more Indian languages, and charges ₹199 by UPI for five personal questions.
- Kundlo describes itself as an AI Vedic astrologer on WhatsApp with no signup, covering birth chart analysis, dasha timing, transits and PDF Kundli reports.
- HoroTalk describes a personal AI astrologer on WhatsApp for Kundli readings, daily horoscopes and matchmaking in Hindi and English.
These can be a quick way to try astrology in a chat, but check where the number is published, how payment works and what the privacy policy says before you send your birth details.
WhatsApp or Android app: which should you use?
WhatsApp suits short, frequent questions such as "is today good to sign?" or "what does this week look like?", and people who do not want another app on a crowded phone. It is also easy to forward an answer to a parent or partner.
An app suits anything you need to see: a Navamsa chart, a dasha timeline, a guna milan breakdown, or a month of muhurat options. Apps can also offer live voice, as AskSoma’s app does.
If you want both, choose a service where WhatsApp and the app share one account, so you do not have to re-enter birth details or lose your history.
Android checklist (and a WhatsApp safety check)
- Play rating. Every app ranked here averages between 4.3 and 4.8 on Google Play. Read a few recent reviews too.
- Ads. None of the seven ranked apps carries the "Contains ads" label on Play.
- In-app purchase model. Per-minute wallet (Astrotalk, Anytime Astro, InstaAstro), free questions plus Premium (Om.AI), paid reports (Clickastro), or a free tier plus flat Pro (AskSoma).
- Hindi and regional languages. Count only what the listing names. AskSoma, Clickastro, Anytime Astro, Om.AI and InstaAstro state languages; Astrotalk and Melooha do not on Play.
- Last updated. All seven were updated between August and September 2026.
- WhatsApp safety. Message only numbers linked from the provider’s own site or app, never share an OTP, and do not pay a UPI request sent by a number you cannot verify.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I chat with an astrologer on WhatsApp for free?
Among the major Android astrology apps we checked, only AskSoma states that its astrology chat also runs on WhatsApp, on the same account as the app, and it has a free tier with free daily messages. Small WhatsApp-only services exist too: KundliBaba AI says it sends a free Vedic kundli on WhatsApp and charges ₹199 for five personal questions. The big human-astrologer marketplaces keep their free first chat inside their own apps.
Is there an AI astrologer on WhatsApp?
Yes. AskSoma runs its AI astrologer on WhatsApp and Telegram as well as in its Android app. Several WhatsApp-only bots also describe themselves as AI Vedic astrologers, including KundliBaba AI, Kundlo and HoroTalk. Before you share birth details, check that the bot is linked from the provider’s own website.
Does Astrotalk have astrology chat on WhatsApp?
We found no WhatsApp astrology chat on Astrotalk’s Google Play listing or its homepage when we checked on 1 October 2026. Its listing describes chat and call with astrologers inside the Astrotalk app, with the first session free and per-minute billing after that.
How do I get my Kundli on WhatsApp?
There are two routes. Some services deliver a finished report to WhatsApp: Clickastro says its premium reports arrive as a PDF by email or WhatsApp, and Melooha’s report page says reports reach your WhatsApp when they are ready. Others let you chat about your chart on WhatsApp. AskSoma builds your Kundli in its app and lets you keep asking about it on WhatsApp from the same account.
Is it safe to share my birth details with an astrology bot on WhatsApp?
Treat it like any other service that asks for personal data. Only message numbers that the provider links from its own website or app, never share a one-time password (OTP) with anyone, read the privacy policy, and do not pay by UPI to a number that a stranger sends you. Be wary of any reading that uses fear to sell an expensive remedy.
Is WhatsApp or an Android app better for astrology?
WhatsApp is quicker for short, everyday questions because there is nothing new to open. An app is better for anything visual or long, such as divisional charts, a dasha timeline or a kundli matching report. A service that runs on both from one account, as AskSoma does, lets you use whichever fits the moment.
Does AskSoma also work on Telegram?
Yes. AskSoma’s Google Play listing says it is also available on WhatsApp and Telegram on the same account, so your chart and history are not split across apps.
The Verdict
If you want to ask astrology questions inside WhatsApp, the choice among established Android apps is short: AskSoma is the only one whose listing or site (checked 1 Oct 2026) describes running its astrology chat on WhatsApp and Telegram, on the same account as an app with a Swiss Ephemeris Kundli, live voice and 21+ languages. It is newer and smaller than the marketplaces and has no human astrologers, so weigh that.
If you want a document in WhatsApp, Clickastro’s premium PDFs and Melooha’s reports both arrive there. If you want a person, Astrotalk, Anytime Astro and InstaAstro are the right apps, but their consultations happen in their own apps, with WhatsApp used at most for login codes or support. The WhatsApp-only bots are worth a look if you never want to install anything, as long as you check who runs them first.
