From birth star to a shortlist — the method, worked

1. Step 1 — find the star and pada. Suppose the baby’s Moon is in Rohini pada 1 (from the Baby Nakshatra Calculator). Rohini’s pada-1 syllable is "O".
2. Step 2 — generate names on that sound in your tradition. Sanskrit: Om, Ojas, Oorja (girl). Modern/short: Ovi, Ojasvi. Each is checked for a clean meaning — Ojas means vital energy; Oorja means strength.
3. Step 3 — reconcile with numerology (optional). If the baby’s birth-day number is 5 (Mercury), a spelling whose Chaldean total also reduces to a Mercury-friendly number (5 or 6) is preferred — but only ever by adjusting spelling, never by abandoning the "O" sound.
4. Step 4 — choose for meaning and belonging. Between two star-correct, numerology-friendly options, pick the one whose meaning and cultural fit you love. That final call is yours, not the algorithm’s.

The syllable is fixed by the chart and is reproducible; everything after it — meaning, spelling, culture — is human judgement the tool supports rather than replaces.

What this tool can NOT tell you

• The starting syllable depends on an accurate nakshatra pada, which depends on birth TIME. If the time is uncertain, the pada (and therefore the sound) may be wrong — confirm the birth star first.
• Nakshatra syllable and numerology can point in different directions. The traditional resolution keeps the star’s sound and tunes the spelling for numerology — not the reverse. A tool that quietly changes the sound to hit a number has left tradition behind.
• Meaning matters as much as vibration. A name with a perfect number and an unfortunate meaning is a poor trade; read the meaning before the math.
• No name determines a life. The Naam Akshar is a beautiful thread connecting a child to the sky they were born under — an honour, not a spell. A loved name that ignores it will do no harm.
