★ Career & Job Timing Picks 2026

Best Career Astrology Apps (2026): Job Prediction Apps Ranked

Most career questions are timing questions: when the job change opens up, whether this is the year to push for promotion, whether your chart leans toward a salaried role or your own business. A sun-sign horoscope cannot answer that. This guide ranks 8 Android apps on whether their Google Play listings offer the tools that can: 10th-house and divisional-chart depth (including the D10 Dashamsha), Dasha and transit timing, and a sensible way to ask follow-up questions.

Quick picks: career astrology apps on Android

  • Best overall for career timing: AskSoma — ask your exact job question by chat or live voice and get dated timing windows with confidence levels.
  • Best free toolkit to read your own D10 and Dashas: AstroSage Kundli — its listing names divisional charts, dashas, KP and Jaimini tools.
  • Best for a written career report: Clickastro — career is one of its paid premium reports.
  • Best AI app with Dasha alerts: Om.AI — Premium lists Dasha alerts and a month-ahead forecast.
  • Best for talking a job decision through with a person: Astrotalk or Astroyogi — free first chat, then per-minute billing.
  • Best Western-astrology option: CHANI — personalised transit and annual readings.

Why a daily horoscope can't answer a career question

"Will I get a better job this year?" sounds like one question, but in Vedic astrology (Jyotish) it is three: what kind of work your chart supports, how the chart of profession refines that, and when the relevant planets are switched on. A generic sun-sign forecast ignores your ascendant, houses and running planetary period, so it can address none of them. A career prediction app is only as useful as the chart layers it can read:

  • The 10th house and its lord (karma bhava). Your public role, profession and standing. Saturn is the traditional significator of work, the Sun of authority and government service, Mercury of trade and analysis.
  • The Dashamsha (D10) divisional chart. D10 splits each sign into ten three-degree segments to refine the 10th-house picture. Because the segments are so narrow, a ten- or fifteen-minute error in birth time can move the D10 ascendant into a different sign.
  • Vimshottari Dasha and transits. The Mahadasha and Antardasha you are running show which planet's agenda is active. A period of the 10th lord, or Saturn and Jupiter transiting the 10th house, is traditionally read as a window for change at work.

Western astrology reads the same question through the Midheaven and transits such as the Saturn return, which is why one Western app closes this list.

How we ranked these career astrology apps

Every competitor fact comes from the app's Google Play listing, checked on 1 October 2026. Where a listing is silent, on price or language for example, we say nothing rather than guess. Five criteria, in order of weight:

  1. Career-relevant chart depth named in the listing: divisional charts, Dasha analysis, a named career report or career questions in chat.
  2. Timing tools: Dasha periods, transit readings, dated windows, forecasts or alerts. Career decisions are "when" decisions.
  3. How you ask follow-up questions, and what that costs: AI chat, a written report or a per-minute human consultation.
  4. Android basics from the listing: average rating, ads, in-app purchases and last update.
  5. Language support, only where the listing states it.

We did not rank on prediction accuracy. No competitor listing here describes a way to check career predictions afterwards, and a star rating measures general satisfaction, not whether job timing came true. AskSoma's Pro Prediction Ledger records hits and misses for each user; it is a personal record, not an independent accuracy score.

See AskSoma on Google Play · Checked on Google Play, 1 Oct 2026

AskSoma is an AI Vedic astrology app built on a Swiss Ephemeris Kundli with divisional charts. You put your actual question to Soma, the AI astrologer, by chat or live voice ("Is the second half of next year better for a job switch than now?"), and the answer is grounded in your own chart. The listing describes dated timing windows with confidence levels; career and wealth are two of its 22 insight areas. On Pro, the Prediction Ledger tracks which windows landed and which did not, so you can judge the timing yourself instead of taking it on trust.

The free web tools show the method. The Career Prediction tool reads the 10th house and its lord, the D10, Saturn, the Atmakaraka and your running Dasha-Antardasha. The Dashamsha (D10) calculator returns the D10 ascendant, the D10 10th lord, a job-versus-business lean and activation Dashas, deterministically. Birth-time rectification helps if your time is uncertain, the Muhurat finder covers joining dates, and the same account works on WhatsApp and Telegram. The listing says there is no per-minute clock; the free tier includes the Kundli, free daily messages and 5 voice minutes.

Pros

  • Career answers grounded in your own chart, by chat and live voice
  • Dated timing windows with confidence levels; Pro Prediction Ledger
  • Free career-prediction and D10 tools on the web
  • 21+ languages, Hindi first
  • No ads and no per-minute clock

Cons

  • A newer and smaller app: 10K+ installs on Google Play
  • No live human astrologers listed
  • Western (tropical) astrology is lighter than its Vedic depth

Pricing: Free tier available. Pro: from ~$0.27/day · $14.99/mo · 6 months $59.99 · day pass from $2 · India ₹14/day.

Best for: A specific, dated career question (job switch, promotion, job versus business) answered from your 10th house, D10 and Dasha, without paying by the minute.

AstroSage Kundli

The deepest free Kundli toolkit for reading your own career chart

  • Installs50M+
  • Contains adsYes
  • In-app purchasesYes
  • Last updatedOct 1, 2026

See AstroSage Kundli on Google Play · Checked on Google Play, 1 Oct 2026

AstroSage Kundli (50M+ installs) lists a free Kundli with divisional charts and dashas, plus KP-system, Lal Kitab and Jaimini tools: the raw material a career reading is built from. If you can read a chart, you can inspect the Dashamsha and step through your Dasha periods at no cost. The listing also mentions AI astrologers you can chat with or call, premium human astrologers, and muhurat, hora and rahu kaal tools for timing an application or interview.

It names nine languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali. The listed trade-offs: the app contains ads, the listing names no career-specific report, and it does not state consultation prices. With many tool families in one app, a career question means knowing which tools to open rather than asking one question.

Pros

  • Free divisional charts and dashas, per the listing
  • KP, Lal Kitab and Jaimini tools for a second method
  • AI astrologers and premium human astrologers
  • Nine languages including Hindi; updated 1 Oct 2026

Cons

  • Contains ads, per the Play listing
  • No career-specific report named
  • Consultation prices not stated

Pricing: Free Kundli and tools; in-app purchases available. The listing does not state prices.

Best for: DIY chart readers who want free D10 and Dasha depth in Hindi or a regional language.

3

Clickastro

A paid written career report, plus consultations with named astrologers

On Google Play

  • Average rating4.4 / 5
  • Installs1M+
  • Contains adsNo
  • In-app purchasesYes
  • Last updatedSep 10, 2026

See Clickastro on Google Play · Checked on Google Play, 1 Oct 2026

Clickastro's listing names career among its paid premium reports, alongside marriage, wealth, gem recommendations and transits. A structured document suits one large decision, such as a relocation or a choice between two offers, better than a running chat. The free side covers a janam kundli with predictions, kundli matching with dasha sandhi analysis, panchang, rashifal and multiple family profiles, and the listing offers consultations with named astrologers.

It generates horoscopes in nine languages, including Hindi and Oriya, and Google Play shows no ads. The limits: career depth sits behind a paid report, a report is a snapshot rather than a conversation, and the listing does not say which charts or Dasha methods the career report uses, so check the sample if D10 analysis matters to you.

Pros

  • Career named among its premium reports
  • No ads; 4.4 average rating
  • Nine languages, including Hindi and Oriya
  • Consultations with named astrologers

Cons

  • Career depth sits behind a paid report
  • A one-time document, not an ongoing conversation
  • Charts used by the career report not specified

Pricing: Free kundli and matching; premium reports and consultations are paid. The listing does not state prices.

Best for: One big career decision where you want a written report to keep.

4

Om.AI

AI chat built on dashas and transits, with Dasha alerts on Premium

See Om.AI on Google Play · Checked on Google Play, 1 Oct 2026

Om.AI is a smaller AI Vedic app (50K+ installs) with the highest average rating in this list, 4.8. Its listing says chat answers are based on planetary positions, dashas and transits, and Premium adds best-hours timing, a month-ahead forecast, Dasha alerts and daily remedies, so the app can flag when a new period begins. The free Kundli covers D1 and D9, Vimshottari Dasha, Ashtakavarga and Shadbala, a useful check on whether your 10th lord is strong.

One gap for this topic: the listing does not mention the D10 Dashamsha. The first question is free, daily free questions come through streaks, and Premium unlocks unlimited chat. It states English and Hindi, and replies in the language you write in. Its last update, 13 Aug 2026, is the oldest of the eight.

Pros

  • Highest average Play rating here (4.8)
  • Answers built on dashas and transits
  • Premium Dasha alerts and month-ahead forecast
  • No ads, per the Play listing

Cons

  • Small install base (50K+)
  • Listing names D1 and D9, not D10
  • No human astrologers listed

Pricing: First question free and daily free questions via streaks; Premium unlocks unlimited chat. Premium price not stated.

Best for: AI-chat users who want Dasha alerts to flag a new career-relevant period.

5

Melooha

AI Vedic Q&A with a dedicated career report

Melooha's listing describes AI-powered Vedic Q&A personalised to your birth chart, plus detailed reports covering career, health, relationships, marriage and life guidance. A report for the big picture and chat for the follow-up suits career questions, because the first reading usually raises the next question. Free family profiles with chart comparison help when a job offer in another city is a household decision.

It holds a 4.5 average across 1M+ installs, with no ads. The listing does not name the charts or timing systems behind the career report, does not state prices and does not mention Hindi, and Google Play shows no in-app purchases for the app. Check inside the app what is free.

Pros

  • Career named among its detailed reports
  • AI Q&A personalised to your chart
  • 4.5 average rating; no ads

Cons

  • D10 or Dasha methods not specified
  • Pricing not stated in the listing

Best for: A career report and AI chat in one AI-first Vedic app.

  • 4.7 average across 10M+ installs

CHANI

The Western pick for planning work around transits and yearly cycles

See CHANI on Google Play · Checked on Google Play, 1 Oct 2026

CHANI is a Western astrology app its listing describes as "made by real astrologers — not AI". The listing names no career features, so it ranks last, but Western career planning leans on transits and yearly cycles, and CHANI offers personalised transit readings, planetary horoscopes, month-by-month and annual readings, plus a Saturn Return course. Western astrologers commonly tie the Saturn return, around ages 28 to 30, to questions of vocation.

There is no Vedic chart, Dasha or D10 in the listing, and it does not mention Hindi. A Premium tier is referenced, without a stated price.

Pros

  • Personalised transit and annual readings
  • Saturn Return course
  • Human-written; no ads

Cons

  • No career features named in the listing
  • No Vedic chart, Dasha or D10 listed
  • Hindi and Premium price not stated

Pricing: Free content plus a Premium tier (in-app purchases). Price not stated.

Best for: Western-astrology users who plan the working year around transits.

Android checklist before you install a job prediction app

Five things on the Google Play listing tell you more than the screenshots do:

  • Play rating, as an average. These apps range from 4.1 (CHANI) to 4.8 (Om.AI). A rating reflects overall satisfaction with the interface, billing and tone, not whether a job prediction came true.
  • Ads. Only AstroSage Kundli's listing is marked "Contains ads".
  • Per-minute wallet or flat plan. Astrotalk and Astroyogi bill consultations per minute after a free first chat; Clickastro sells reports; AskSoma, Om.AI and CHANI pair a free tier with a paid plan. A job search raises follow-up questions over months, and on a wallet each one is a new charge.
  • Hindi and regional languages, where stated. AskSoma (21+, Hindi first), AstroSage Kundli, Clickastro and Om.AI name Hindi. The other four listings do not state language support.
  • Last-updated recency. All eight were updated in 2026, from AstroSage Kundli (1 Oct) to Om.AI (13 Aug).

One check is specific to career astrology: your birth time. If your certificate rounds to the hour, rectify it (AskSoma lists birth-time rectification) before trusting any D10 reading, in any app.

Which app fits which career question?

"When will I get a job?" or "When should I switch?" A timing question. AskSoma gives dated windows and takes follow-ups as things change; Om.AI's Premium Dasha alerts flag a new period; Astrotalk and Astroyogi offer a free first chat with a person.

"Salaried job or my own business?" Traditionally read from the 10th and 7th houses and the D10. AskSoma's Dashamsha calculator returns an explicit job-versus-business lean; AstroSage Kundli's divisional charts let you inspect it yourself.

"One big decision, in writing." Clickastro and Melooha both list a career report. Read it, then take the questions it raises to a chat.

"Which date should I join or interview?" A muhurat question: AskSoma's Muhurat finder or AstroSage Kundli's muhurat and hora tools cover it.

Career Astrology App FAQ

What is the best career astrology app in 2026?

By the criteria in this guide, AskSoma ranks first: you ask a specific career question by chat or live voice, the answer is grounded in your Vedic chart, and the listing describes dated timing windows with confidence levels. AstroSage Kundli is the strongest free toolkit for reading your own divisional charts and Dashas, and Clickastro suits anyone who wants a paid written career report.

What is the D10 (Dashamsha) chart and why does it matter for career?

The Dashamsha, or D10, splits each zodiac sign into ten three-degree segments. Vedic astrologers use it to refine what the 10th house says about profession, through the D10 ascendant, the D10 10th lord and where career planets fall. Because the segments are narrow, a ten-minute birth-time error can change the D10 ascendant.

Can an astrology app predict when I will get a job?

An app can point to periods Vedic astrology associates with career movement, such as a Dasha of the 10th lord or Saturn and Jupiter transiting the 10th house, and present them as windows. It cannot promise an outcome, because effort, the market and other people's decisions all matter. AskSoma's Pro Prediction Ledger lets you record whether past windows matched what happened.

Is a career report better than talking to an astrologer?

They suit different needs. A paid report, such as Clickastro's, is a fixed document for one big decision. A consultation, human on Astrotalk or Astroyogi or AI on AskSoma, Om.AI or Melooha, lets you ask follow-ups as your situation changes.

Which career astrology app works in Hindi?

In this guide, the Google Play listings that name Hindi are AskSoma (21+ languages, Hindi first), AstroSage Kundli, Clickastro and Om.AI. Astrotalk, Astroyogi, Melooha and CHANI do not state language support on their listings.

Are career astrology apps free?

Most offer something free and charge for depth. AstroSage Kundli's tools are free with ads; Astrotalk and Astroyogi give a free first chat, then charge per minute; Clickastro's career report is paid; Om.AI gives free questions through streaks. AskSoma has a free tier plus free web career and D10 tools, with Pro from ~$0.27/day.

Do I need my exact birth time for a career prediction?

For a basic 10th-house reading, an approximate time often keeps the ascendant in the same sign. For the D10 you need a precise time, because its ascendant can change within minutes. If you only know the hour, rectify your birth time first.

Should I use Vedic or Western astrology for career questions?

Vedic astrology has dedicated career machinery, the D10 chart and Vimshottari Dasha timing, which most apps here are built around. Western astrology works through the Midheaven and transits like the Saturn return. For dated career windows, a Vedic app is the more direct fit; CHANI suits people who already follow Western astrology.

The Verdict

For career and job timing on Android in 2026, AskSoma ranks first on our stated criteria. Its listing alone combines a chart-grounded AI astrologer you can question by chat or voice, dated timing windows with confidence levels and a Pro Prediction Ledger to check them, and its free web tools expose the 10th-house, D10 and Dasha method behind the answers. It is also newer and smaller, with no human astrologers.

To study your own Dashamsha for free, use AstroSage Kundli. For a written report, Clickastro. For Dasha alerts, Om.AI. For a human, Astrotalk or Astroyogi. Whichever you choose, get your birth time right first: every D10 reading depends on it.
