Best Numerology App: 6 Numerology Calculator Apps for Android (2026)
Three dedicated numerology apps, two astrology apps that include numerology, and one way to ask a human numerologist, ranked for people searching for a numerology calculator app on Android. We explain why two apps can give you different name numbers, and every rating and feature below comes from the app's own Google Play listing, checked on 1 October 2026.
Disclosure: AskSoma publishes this guide and ranks its own app first. The ranking reflects our stated criteria below; every competitor fact is taken from its Google Play listing (checked 1 Oct 2026). AskSoma ranks #1 specifically as numerology inside a full Vedic chart app. If you want a numerology-only app, our pick is #2, Numerology Rediscover Yourself.

How We Ranked These Numerology Apps
"Numerology app" covers anything from a one-screen Life Path calculator to a full reading of your name and birth date. We ranked against the six criteria below, in order of weight. We did not install or score the apps ourselves; each feature and fact is taken from the app's Play listing, and for AskSoma from its own tool pages.
- The system is stated. Does the app say whether it uses Pythagorean or Chaldean letter values? Name numbers differ between the two, so an app that does not say leaves you unable to compare its answer with anything else.
- Core numbers covered. Life Path (Bhagyank), birth-day number (Mulank), Expression or Destiny (the name number, Namaank), Soul Urge and Personality.
- Name work. Can you test a name or a spelling change and compare the results, rather than only read the number of the name you already have? This matters for baby names, signatures and business names.
- Timing cycles. Personal Year, Month and Day numbers, which are how most people use numerology day to day.
- Context. Does numerology sit next to a birth chart, so the two can be read together, or is it standalone?
- Android hygiene. Average Play rating, declared ads, in-app purchases and last-updated date.
Criteria 3 and 5 decide the top spot, and we want to be plain about that. AskSoma ranks first because it pairs a Chaldean name-correction tool and a numerology reading with a full Vedic Kundli. On criteria 2 and 4 alone, the dedicated apps at #2, #3 and #4 list more numerology-specific extras, and Numerology Rediscover Yourself is the stronger choice if you never want astrology at all.
Pythagorean vs Chaldean Numerology, in Plain English
Most disagreements between numerology apps come down to one question: which number does each letter get? There are two common answers.
Pythagorean numerology gives the letters A to Z the values 1 to 9 in alphabetical order, then starts again: A, J and S are 1; B, K and T are 2; and so on up to I and R as 9. It is the system most Western numerology apps use, it usually works from your full birth name, and it names the core numbers Life Path, Expression (or Destiny), Soul Urge (or Heart's Desire) and Personality.
Chaldean numerology is the older tradition, associated with ancient Babylon. It assigns letters the values 1 to 8 by their sound rather than their position, and does not give any letter the value 9, which the tradition treats as sacred. It often uses the name you are known by day to day, and reads compound numbers (such as 23 or 41) alongside the single digit. Indian numerology, with its Mulank, Bhagyank and Namaank, commonly uses Chaldean letter values, which is also why name-correction advice in India is usually Chaldean.
Here is the same short name in both systems:
Pythagorean: A=1, N=5, I=9, L=3 → 18 → 1+8 = 9
Chaldean: A=1, N=5, I=1, L=3 → 10 → 1+0 = 1
Same name, two different name numbers, and neither app is "wrong". Numbers from your birth date are different: they come from adding the digits of the date, so the letter system does not affect them. For someone born on 23 July 1988, the birth-day number (Mulank) is 2+3 = 5, and the full-date number (Life Path or Bhagyank) is 2+3+0+7+1+9+8+8 = 38, then 3+8 = 11. Here a second difference appears: some apps keep 11 as a Master Number, while others reduce it to 2. Some also reduce the day, month and year separately before adding, which can change whether a Master Number shows up.
The practical advice is to pick one system and stay with it. Comparing a Pythagorean Expression number from one app with a Chaldean Namaank from another will only confuse you. Nothing on this page claims either system predicts better; they are different conventions.
The 6 Best Numerology Apps for Android in 2026, Ranked
AskSoma
Numerology inside a full Vedic chart app
AskSoma is our own app, and it is mainly a Vedic astrology app: numerology is one of its 22 insight areas, not the whole product. We rank it first for a specific reason. It is the option here where your numbers sit next to a Swiss Ephemeris Kundli with divisional charts, and next to an AI astrologer you can question by chat or live voice in 21+ supported languages, Hindi first.
The numerology reading covers Life Path, Destiny and Soul numbers and a Lo Shu grid, cross-referenced with your chart. On the web, the free numerology calculator works out Mulank, Bhagyank and Namaank with Chaldean letter values, plus Soul Urge, Personality and your Personal Year. The free name-correction tool is where AskSoma differs most from the dedicated apps: you enter your birth name and date, try spelling variants, and see how each scores against your Mulank and Bhagyank. People use it for baby names, signatures and brand names.
Outside numerology, the same account gives you dated timing windows with confidence levels (with a Prediction Ledger on Pro), Cosmic Contacts for kundli matching, a Muhurat finder and birth-time rectification, and it also works on WhatsApp and Telegram. The listing states "no per-minute clock".

Numerology Rediscover Yourself (Mirofox)
The best dedicated numerology app: a full Pythagorean chart
If you want numerology and nothing else, this is the app to start with. Its listing describes a complete Pythagorean numerology chart, covering Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality and more, along with Master Numbers and Karmic Debt Numbers, which several smaller apps skip. It is the most installed dedicated numerology app we looked at (5M+), and its listing carries Google Play's Editors' Choice badge.
For daily use, it offers Personal Day, Month and Year forecasts and a personal numerology calendar, so you can see the cycle for a date ahead of time. Numerology – Life Path Numbers (RedAppz)
Daily numbers, lucky colours and significant hours
RedAppz's app is built around a daily check-in. Its listing describes daily numerology predictions that include significant hours, favourable colours and lucky numbers, so it answers "what kind of day is it?" more directly than a full chart does. It has the highest average rating of the three dedicated apps here.
The chart side is lighter but clear about its method: Life Path from your birth date using the Pythagorean method, Destiny or Expression from your name, and Master Numbers 11, 22 and 33, with free reports and number meanings. The listing describes the app as free with display ads that you can remove for a small fee, which is the simplest pricing statement of any numerology app on this page.
Pros

- Daily significant hours, favourable colours and lucky numbers
- Method stated (Pythagorean); keeps 11, 22 and 33
- Clear pricing: free with ads, small fee to remove them

Numerology & Biorhythm (CrazyBee)
Psychomatrix and biorhythm cycles in one app
CrazyBee's app covers the widest list of individual numbers of the three dedicated apps. Its listing names Life Path, Expression, Personality, Desire, Birth Day and lucky numbers, then adds name, marriage, maturity and challenge numbers, Personal Day, Month and Year numbers, and lucky gems.
Two features set it apart. The first is a Psychomatrix, also called the Pythagoras square, a grid built from the digits of your birth date. The second is a daily biorhythm guide that scores physical, emotional and intellectual states. Biorhythm is a separate idea from numerology, but if you like both, this is the one app here that puts them together.
Pros
- Psychomatrix (Pythagoras square) calculation
- Daily biorhythm for physical, emotional and intellectual states
- Marriage, maturity and challenge numbers
- Personal Day, Month and Year numbers
Cons
- Listing declares ads and in-app purchases
- Smallest install base of the dedicated apps (100K+)
- Letter system for name numbers not stated on the listing

Best for: Users who want the Psychomatrix square or biorhythm cycles alongside their core numbers.
Clickastro
Daily numerology predictions inside an Indian astrology toolkit
Clickastro is an astrology app first, and its listing mentions numerology in one place: daily numerology predictions, alongside daily panchang, rashifal and sun-sign predictions. We include it because its listing names numerology as a self-serve daily feature, and because it covers languages the dedicated apps do not mention: English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Oriya.
Around that sit a free janam kundli with predictions, free kundli matching with papasamya, dosha and dasha sandhi analysis, multiple family profiles, paid premium reports and paid consultations with named astrologers. If you want numerology as part of a family's daily astrology routine, in a regional language, without ads, it fits. If you want a full numerology chart, it does not describe one.
Pros
- No ads declared
- Nine languages named, including Hindi and Oriya
- Free janam kundli and matching in the same app
Cons
- Numerology is daily predictions only; no full chart described
- Numerology system not stated
- Deeper readings are paid reports
- 4.4★ average rating
- 1M+ installs
- Contains ads: No
- In-app purchases: Yes

Pricing: Free kundli and matching; paid premium reports and paid astrologer consultations.
Best for: Families who want a daily numerology note next to their rashifal and panchang, in an Indian language.
InstaAstro
A human numerologist by chat or call
InstaAstro is not a numerology calculator. It is a consultation marketplace whose listing includes numerologists alongside astrologers, tarot readers and palmists, which makes it the route on this page for asking a person about a name change before you make it. The listing mentions 2000+ experts and live sessions, and describes the app as working in Hindi and English.
The first chat or call costs ₹1; after that, per-minute charges apply from a recharged wallet. Free tools include Kundli making and matching, horoscopes, Hindu and Jain Panchang, and Vastu and dosha guidance. Note that a human numerologist may use either system, so ask which one before you compare their advice with an app.
Pros
- Numerologists available by chat or call
- ₹1 first session
- No ads declared; 4.7 average rating
Cons
- No self-serve numerology calculator described
- Per-minute charges after the first session

What a Numerology Calculator App Actually Needs From You
Unlike a Kundli, numerology does not need your birth time or birthplace. Every app on this page works from two inputs, and getting them right matters more than which app you choose.
Your date of birth drives the Life Path (Bhagyank), the birth-day number (Mulank) and the Personal Year, Month and Day cycles. Enter it exactly as on your birth certificate; if you were born just after midnight and your family celebrates the previous day, use the registered date.
Your name drives Expression, Soul Urge, Personality and Namaank. Pythagorean apps generally want your full birth name. Chaldean practice often uses the name you actually go by, which is why name-correction advice usually asks for both. If you have changed your name after marriage or for work, run both versions and note which one each app expects.
If you also want a birth chart, that is when birth time and place come in. That is the reason AskSoma asks for more details than a numerology-only app: the same profile produces both the numbers and the Kundli.
Android Checklist for Numerology Apps
- Play rating, as an average. The three dedicated apps sit between 4.3 and 4.6. Read a handful of recent reviews for comments on ads and paywalls, which is where numerology apps tend to differ.
- Ads. All three dedicated numerology apps declare ads. Only RedAppz's listing says how to remove them (a small fee). AskSoma, Clickastro and InstaAstro declare no ads.
- In-app purchase model. Check whether the purchase is a one-off ad removal, a subscription for premium reports, or a per-minute wallet for a human numerologist (InstaAstro). These cost very different amounts over a year.
- Language. None of the three dedicated numerology apps' listings mention Hindi or another Indian language. If you want numerology in Hindi or a regional language, Clickastro, InstaAstro or AskSoma name those languages on their listings.
- Last updated. All six ranked apps were updated in September 2026. Recent updates matter less for a calculator than for a Panchang, but an app untouched for years may break on newer Android versions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best numerology app for Android in 2026?
By the criteria on this page, AskSoma ranks first for numerology inside a full Vedic chart app; we publish it, and it fits best if you want name correction and your birth chart together. For a numerology-only app, Numerology Rediscover Yourself by Mirofox lists the fullest Pythagorean chart, with Master and Karmic Debt numbers and a personal numerology calendar, and its listing carries an Editors' Choice badge.
Is there a free numerology calculator app?
Yes, with caveats. RedAppz's Numerology - Life Path Numbers is free with display ads that can be removed for a small fee. Mirofox and CrazyBee are free to install but declare ads and in-app purchases. Clickastro's listing includes daily numerology predictions and declares no ads. AskSoma's numerology calculator and name-correction tool are free on the web at asksoma.ai, with no install needed.
Should I use Pythagorean or Chaldean numerology?
Neither has been shown to be more reliable; they are different conventions. Pythagorean assigns letters the values 1 to 9 in alphabetical order and is common in Western apps. Chaldean assigns 1 to 8 by sound, leaves 9 unassigned, and is common in Indian numerology and name-correction practice. Pick the system your source of advice uses and stay with it, so your numbers stay comparable over time.
Why do two numerology apps give me different numbers?
Usually for one of four reasons: they use different letter systems (Pythagorean or Chaldean), they use a different version of your name (full birth name or the name you go by), one keeps Master Numbers such as 11 or 22 while the other reduces them, or one reduces the day, month and year separately before adding. Birth-date numbers such as Life Path rarely differ; name numbers often do.
Can a numerology app suggest a name correction?
Some can. AskSoma's free name-correction tool lets you enter spelling variants and compare how each scores against your Mulank and Bhagyank using Chaldean values. The dedicated apps on this page calculate the number of the name you enter, but their listings do not describe a spelling-comparison tool. For a personal recommendation, a human numerologist on InstaAstro can review options with you.
What is the difference between Mulank, Bhagyank and Life Path number?
Mulank is the root number of the day of the month you were born, so someone born on the 23rd has Mulank 5. Bhagyank comes from adding every digit of the full date of birth, and is the Indian name for what Western apps call the Life Path number. Namaank is the number of your name, close to the Western Expression or Destiny number.
Do I need my birth time for numerology?
No. Numerology uses only your date of birth and your name. Birth time and birthplace are needed for a Vedic birth chart (Kundli), which is why apps that also make a Kundli, such as AskSoma, ask for them.
Is numerology the same as astrology?
No. Numerology derives meaning from the numbers in your name and birth date. Astrology, including Vedic Jyotish, works from the positions of the planets at your time and place of birth. In India the two are often used side by side; AskSoma treats numerology as one of its 22 insight areas alongside the chart.
The Verdict
The best numerology app depends on what you want the numbers for. If you want numerology read alongside your Vedic birth chart, and especially if you are weighing a name or spelling change, AskSoma is our #1: we publish it, it says it uses Chaldean values, and its name-correction tool is free, though it is a smaller app with no human numerologists. If you want a dedicated numerology app, Numerology Rediscover Yourself lists the fullest Pythagorean chart, with Karmic Debt numbers and a personal calendar. RedAppz is the simplest daily check, and CrazyBee is the pick if Psychomatrix or biorhythm appeal to you. Whichever you choose, stay with one letter system so your numbers stay comparable.
