Check the date before reading
Open the reading itself and find its date or covered period. A notification sent today can lead to older content. If you are planning tomorrow, confirm the selected date after changing it. When travelling, check the location and time-zone convention used for any sunrise-based Panchang timings. Keep those details with a saved or shared result.
Know which sign the app uses
Sun-sign and Moon-sign readings start from different chart factors. A general sign reading groups many people together; it does not include every placement in your chart. Before calling two readings contradictory, check the zodiac and sign setting. If you do not know your Moon sign, calculate it using your birth details and keep any time uncertainty visible.
Distinguish a daily theme from a personal calculation
