The direct answer: AskSoma Free vs Pro (2026) — Exactly What’s Free, What’s Paid & Why: Free includes your Kundli, 3 Soma questions on day 1, then 1/day. Compare Pro insight pages, message allowances, voice and tools before choosing a plan. AskSoma publishes this at asksoma.ai/free-vs-pro as a free Vedic astrology resource using Swiss Ephemeris calculations and classical Jyotish interpretation — not generic sun-sign copy.

India: ₹1,299/month, ₹3,499 once for 6 months, or ₹4,999 once for a full year (365 days, no auto-renew mandate). Elsewhere: $14.99/month, $59.99 every 6 months, or $99 once for a year. A 24-hour Day Pass starts at ₹200 / $2 on the web (pay what you want) and is ₹199 / $7.99 in the apps.
The free plan is a real product, not a timer. Your complete Kundli is computed in your browser with the Swiss Ephemeris and Lahiri ayanamsa — the same math Pro uses. You get 3 free Soma questions on your first day and 1 free question every day after, two AI-written pages (Daily Pulse and About You), 5 minutes of voice, and 100+ free tools. No card is required to sign up.
No. After the 3 first-day questions, one free question refills every single day. When you want more on a given day, each extra message costs 20 Reward credits — which you can earn free through daily streaks, referrals, and the nightly check-in — or you can upgrade to Pro for 160 Soma messages a month (unlimited on Annual).
Pro unlocks all 22 AI insight pages (free has 2), the 18 premium personas (free has 8), the Cosmic Events 30-day personal transit feed, the personalised Cosmic Calendar with muhurat planning, and 160 Soma messages a month (unlimited on Annual). In India, Pro is ₹1,299/month, ₹3,499 once for 6 months, or ₹4,999 once for a full year; elsewhere it is $14.99/month, $59.99 every 6 months, or $99 once for a year.
No. This is a written rule in the AskSoma Code on our methodology page: nothing that is free today gets moved behind a paywall tomorrow. Pro adds depth; it never subtracts. Your Kundli, daily panchang, free daily question, and earned credits stay free.
