No. Copy the iframe and it works. If you later want to call the calculations directly from your own backend — your own layout, your own markup — there is a REST API and an MCP server for that, and those do need a key. The widget does not.
The iframe carries loading="lazy", so the browser will not fetch it until it is close to the viewport. It renders in its own document, so its JavaScript cannot block yours, and its CSS cannot touch your styles either.
Set any height and width you like on the iframe — the widget is responsive and fills what you give it. Add ?theme=dark to the src for a dark-background version. Anything further, including your own colours and typography on your own subdomain, is the co-branded build; write to us.
Birth details entered in the widget are used to run that calculation. They are not sold, and they are not shared with you or with third parties for advertising. If a visitor chooses to create an AskSoma account from inside the widget, that is their own action.

Where results differ from another site, it is almost always tropical-versus-sidereal zodiac or a time-zone convention, not a calculation error.
Your page keeps rendering; the frame would simply be empty. There is no script on your site to remove and nothing that can break your layout. We have no plan to withdraw them — the widgets exist because we want to be useful on other people's sites — but you should know the failure mode before you paste anything.
