Free Capricorn daily horoscope (Makara, Dec 22–Jan 19). Today's Earth sign predictions for love, career, money, and health — grounded in Vedic astrology.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn — the planet of discipline, time, structure, and mastery through perseverance. A Capricorn daily horoscope examines how Saturn's current transit and the day's planetary aspects affect your ambition, patience, and ability to build lasting results. Capricorn energy is invested for the long term; the daily forecast helps you identify which actions today carry compounding value and which represent unnecessary detours from your core objectives.
The cardinal Earth element makes Capricorn the most proactive of the Earth signs — not content to wait for circumstances to align, but actively constructing the conditions that favour success. Today's forecast respects that initiating orientation while also noting when Saturn's own transits create periods of deliberate restraint, mandatory review, or structural renovation that are not setbacks but essential phases in any sustained achievement.

Monday puts your shared money first.
With the Moon in Leo from morning to night, shared money, intimacy and deep change take the lead in your 8th house. It favors quiet, close time with someone you trust. Today favors depth over small talk, so pick one honest conversation. Apart from the Moon, no planet changes sign or direction today and no aspect is building between the faster planets, so the Moon in your 8th house sets the pace.
While Venus is retrograde in your 11th house, take a moment today to rethink a wish you set a while back. Jealousy or old fears may surface. Name them calmly, and they lose much of their grip.
Mercury in Scorpio keeps conversations and decisions anchored in your 11th house of friendship, teamwork and wishes. Research is your edge. Dig into the numbers that everyone else skims.
Deep rest and honest reflection help more than distraction. Look gently at what you usually avoid.
Tuesday turns toward your travel and learning.
Your 9th house of learning, beliefs and faraway places picks up the Moon at 10:53 p.m. EDT, when it enters Virgo from Leo. After that, think a day trip or a new idea. Mars and Uranus sit 0°28′ short of a sextile, and the gap is closing, so your 6th and 8th houses keep talking. Use the smooth flow to make a move you have already planned.
Capricorn rules the tenth house — the house of career, public reputation, authority, and the structures we build over time. Saturn's rulership reinforces these themes. Daily forecasts for Capricorn naturally orient toward the professional and legacy dimensions of experience because that is where this sign's deepest investments lie.
For Capricorn, a challenging day rarely signals failure — it more often indicates a structural test that, if met with patience rather than force, yields a stronger foundation. Saturn's nature is to reveal what is not yet solid so that it can be properly reinforced. A difficult forecast is your cue to assess rather than accelerate.
Makara is the Vedic equivalent of Capricorn, also Saturn-ruled and carrying the same associations with discipline, time, and earned authority. Notable distinction: in Vedic astrology, exalted Mars falls in Capricorn, adding a strategic, action-oriented dimension to the sign that Western interpretations sometimes underemphasise. AskSoma's personalised readings incorporate this nuance.
