What a structured report contains, section by section

The section order is deliberate — foundations first, because every claim later in the document depends on them. Skipping to the section you care about without reading the first two is the most common way a report gets misread.

1. Chart foundations

The 2nd and 11th houses, their lords, and any classical Dhana combinations present — described as chart patterns, not as forecasts of a sum of money.

6. Relationships

The 7th house and its lord, Venus, the Upapada, and the D9 Navamsa. Marriage timing, where discussed at all, is tied to the Dasha of the relevant lords and framed as a window rather than a date.

7. Health and constitution

The 6th house, the 1st house, and constitutional indicators — written as tendencies to be aware of, never as diagnosis. This section deliberately says less than a reader might want it to.

8. Spiritual and inner direction

The 9th and 12th houses, Ketu, and the Atmakaraka. Read as orientation and preoccupation, not as instruction.

9. Timeline ahead

The Dasha changes falling in the next several years and what each period's lord governs in this specific chart. Periods, not events.

10. Summary and open questions

The two or three themes that actually recur across the sections above, plus an explicit list of what the chart does NOT settle — the most useful page in the document, and the one most reports leave out.

How to read a generated report without over-trusting it

A printed document carries more apparent authority than a chat message saying exactly the same thing. These four habits keep that formatting effect in check.

Check the birth-time confidence line first

If the report flags an approximate birth time, the house-based sections — career, relationships, property — are the ones most affected. Read them as provisional and prioritise the Moon-based sections, which are far more robust.

Separate placement from timing

A placement says what a chart is capable of; the Dasha says when that capability is live. Statements that mix the two ("your career will take off") are the ones to hold most loosely.

Look for agreement across sections

A theme that appears in the Lagna reading, the D10, and the running Dasha is a genuine signal. A striking claim that appears once and is nowhere corroborated is usually an artefact of one placement being over-read.

What a chart does not settle is real information. A report with no uncertainty in it is not more accurate than one with uncertainty — it is less honest.

What "traceable to a chart factor" means in practice

1. Unusable: "You will do well in business after 2028." No factor named, no mechanism, and a date presented as settled. Nothing in that sentence can be checked, argued with, or revised.
2. Usable: "Your 10th lord is Saturn, placed in the 11th house. Saturn's Mahadasha begins in 2028 and runs nineteen years." Now every element is inspectable — you can verify the placement, verify the Dasha dates, and disagree with the interpretation while agreeing on the arithmetic.
3. Then the interpretation, kept separate and clearly marked as interpretation: "Saturn ruling the 10th from the 11th classically links professional standing to networks and long-horizon gains, and Saturn periods characteristically reward slowly. Expect the shape of this to be gradual rather than sudden."
4. And finally the limit, stated in the report rather than left for the reader to infer: "This describes the register of the period, not an outcome. What you do inside it is not in the chart."

The test for any line in an astrology report is whether you could ask "which placement is that from?" and get an answer. Where you cannot, the sentence is decoration — and decoration in a document that looks official is exactly where the harm is.
